1. Acceptance

By accessing a Paraversal website, using SunBud app services, or contacting support, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website, app, account, or support services.

2. Services

Paraversal develops wearable technology products and the companion app, cloud, and support services behind those products. SunBud is a wearable wellness product and companion app for UV-aware routines, privacy settings, reminders, and support.

Features may change as products are tested, released, improved, or retired. We may update websites, app features, support information, and policy pages as the product evolves.

3. Wellness use and no medical advice

SunBud is intended for general wellness and sun-safety awareness. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any disease or health condition, and does not replace advice from qualified healthcare professionals.

For skin health concerns, medication questions, urgent symptoms, or medical decisions, users should consult a qualified healthcare professional or local emergency service.

4. Accounts and user responsibilities

Users are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for providing accurate information where the app requests account, profile, or support details. Users must not misuse, interfere with, reverse engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to Paraversal systems.

Where family or shared features are available, users are responsible for using permission and access controls appropriately.

5. Availability, devices, and data accuracy

App summaries, estimated UV context, reminders, notifications, device status, cloud services, and support features may be affected by network conditions, device or sensor performance, user settings, regional data availability, and third-party platform services.

Paraversal does not guarantee that every notification, summary, reading, or estimate will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for medical decision-making.

6. Purchases and subscriptions

If SunBud offers paid digital features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases in the app, purchases will be processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. Store terms may govern billing, renewals, taxes, refunds, cancellation, and payment disputes.

Deleting a SunBud account does not automatically cancel an Apple or Google subscription. Users must manage subscriptions through their Apple or Google account settings.

7. Intellectual property

Paraversal websites, software, designs, app interfaces, text, graphics, documentation, and product names are owned by PARAVERSAL PTY LTD or its licensors. Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit them except as permitted by law or by written permission.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Australia, subject to mandatory consumer protection laws that may apply in a user's location.
